Overall, my stay at The Lurline was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, being close to public transport and the Prince of Wales Hospital. However, I encountered issues with the room's cleanliness and some amenities that left me wanting more.

Rooms
5.0
I found my Heritage room to be disappointing. The furniture was quite worn, and the cleanliness was lacking, which was a huge letdown. Despite being comfortable, I had issues with noise and some design flaws, like the cramped bathroom and lack of luggage space.
Service
6.0
The staff I interacted with were friendly and seemed helpful, but their response to my concerns about room cleanliness didn't inspire confidence. They promised to address my complaints, but I didn't feel truly valued as a guest.
Location
9.0
The location was one of the highlights of my stay. Being near the hospital and public transportation made getting around Sydney a breeze. Plus, I loved the nearby restaurants and shops, which offered a real taste of the local vibe.
Dining

I appreciated the breakfast option available via a voucher at a café just up the road. The food there was freshly made and reasonably priced, which made starting my day much easier.
Facilities

While the hotel offers kitchen and laundry facilities that are quite handy, I felt that some aspects like room service and housekeeping could use improvement. The potential for parking issues also loomed, but I was fortunate to find a spot without hassle.

I had a pleasant stay at The Lurline in Randwick, enjoying its proximity to both public transport and local eateries. The room was clean and spacious, but there was some noise from outside, notably during the night. The communal areas, including the kitchen, added a nice touch to my overall experience. I'd consider returning but would choose a quieter room next time. 😊

I had a mixed experience during my stay at The Lurline Randwick. The location was excellent, with easy access to the L2 light rail and plenty of nearby dining options. However, my room was quite noisy, and I faced some issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Despite the noise, I appreciated the spacious room and the friendly service from the staff.

Rooms

My room was spacious for three adults, featuring comfy beds and decent amenities like a large TV and good WiFi. However, it was facing the front, leading to significant noise from the reception area and the street, which was quite bothersome during my stay.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly and very accommodating. They provided daily room service and were helpful when I needed additional items like forks. However, I did encounter some inconsistencies in service, particularly when it came to addressing maintenance issues.
Location

The location was fantastic, right across from the L2 light rail station and close to restaurants and cafes. It was also a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to Coogee Beach, which I thoroughly enjoyed exploring.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the light rail and plenty of dining options nearby. However, the noise levels in my room were quite disruptive, particularly since it was located near the entrance. Overall, I appreciated the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room, but the noise prevented it from being a perfect stay. 🌟

6.8/10

I stayed at The Lurline Randwick for three nights. The location was convenient for accessing public transport and local eateries. however, the noise from the street and thin walls significantly impacted my overall comfort. The room was spacious and came with amenities, but cleanliness was a troubling issue that was hard to overlook.

Rooms
5.0
My room was spacious and came equipped with a fridge and comfy beds, but it felt quite dirty with every surface needing a good clean. The lack of soundproofing was frustrating, as I could hear everything outside as well as conversations nearby.
Service
5.0
While the staff at reception were somewhat helpful, their lack of acknowledgment of my concerns regarding the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. I didn't feel very welcomed during my stay.
Location
7.0
The location was a highlight, with easy access to public transport and a variety of dining options. but being right at a busy intersection made it noisy, especially in the front-facing room I had.
Dining
6.0
I appreciated the nearby eateries but was put off by the voucher they provided for a cafe that often had a long line. A more streamlined dining option would have been ideal.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel did offer communal facilities like a kitchen and laundry, which was handy. But the initial state of my room overshadowed these amenities, and housekeeping didn't effectively address cleanliness complaints.
